A landscape from a distant eye view was what I was looking for, and I found this wonderful artist Steven Cronin who (from his YouTube videos) uses very few tools and paints to achive a dramatic landscape painting. For my first attempt I tried the Boats in Harbour Watercolour Painting Tutorial. And here is my painting.
Camlin Colors: Raw Sienna, Light Red, Lemon Yellow, Prussian Blue and Burnt Umber.
Overall: I liked the end result, the boats need more precision (I should have used a creditcard for it). For future, I also need to learn how to make clouds. I couldn’t do the lifting as I am still using the cartridge paper.
Can you see the clouds?
